We had donuts made for our granddaughters 7th birthday, and they turned out absolutely amazing. The entire team was so very helpful and extremely easy to work with on this special project.
We love going to this bakery. Best little gem in Wausau! Their butterfly is my absolute favorite, but I also love their specialty donuts, which are filled with cream and usually have a special drizzle or extra topping, like chocolate-covered coffee beans. My kids love their donuts topped with cereal. We always pick up a loaf of their sourdough and grab breakfast sandwiches when we stop in, too. You can't go wrong with any choice, and every time you stop, there will be something new to try. In the summer they sometimes do a popup where they have ice cream filled donuts. We tried their lemon one and it was phenomenal! You need to follow their social media so you know when they do those.
Fast and friendly service in a bakery with an old style case and counter reminiscent of family bakeries from many years ago. The Fritters are excellent with other flavors beyond the traditional apple, (try the Cranberry/Orange, it is amazingly tasty). Highly recommended, easy in and out with a 15 minute loading zone in front of the building. I will be repeating the experience.
Best breakfast sandwich and I love the roast beef sandwich too! Awesome breads and danishes. I love how they're updating the inside little bit by bit. I will agree with some of the other reviews, that depending on the type of donut or cookie, you will get a different texture than at the big box stores. And depending on the person, that's good or bad.
I’m a big fan of donuts, and this place has by far the best I’ve ever had! I also recently tried the “fire in the hole” breakfast sandwich was was great as someone who like spicy foods! Awesome community staple and friendly staff.
Had my first donut from here today and I literally heard the angel chorus with each bite. This place has ruined donuts for me forever I will never be able to have a gas station or old grocery store donut again. Keep on keeping on you have gained a customer for life thank you!!!
I thought this little place was my secret until recently. Folks are realizing that Kreger ‘s has the best donuts for miles and they have been super busy, good for them. These are not your typical mass produced grocery store donuts, these are made the exact way a wonderful donut should be made! And did I mention the sandwiches they make! Second to no one! If you haven’t been here, you won’t be sorry when you walk in and smell the fresh bakery! Thank you for putting out a wonderful product along with the quality customer service! You won’t find either one of these at a grocery store!
We were in Wausau visiting from Tennessee and stopped in Kreger's for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches and donuts were great and the people that work there were amazing! Highly recommend you stop in and try for yourself you wont be disappointed 👍
Always wonderful homemade treats to be had here, a local favorite! Come early as they sell out through the day, especially on Fat Tuesday. You can't go wrong here!!
It was my first time visiting today and let me tell you.... I LOVE IT. The two girls working the counter/grill area (yes, they make hot food as well) were absolutely wonderful. It's refreshing to see people with engaging personalities and knowledge of not only their items but other local spots as well. The price was beyond responsible and this might need to become a regular place for me.
